• Most Cross writing instrument mechanisms are guaranteed against mechanical failure, regardless of age.
• Mechanical failure means a product that is defective, or unable to function, as a result of construction or workmanship, when used in accordance with the Care & Use Instructions.
• The following collections are covered by a two-year mechanical warranty from the date of delivery: Foundry, Lume, Prism and Ashford.
• A.T. Cross determines whether an item is mechanically defective and will, at its option, repair it or replace it with a similar or equivalent item.
• If we are unable to repair or replace the item, a gift card will be issued to the value of the writing instrument. Please allow four weeks for processing.
• Engraving is not covered under warranty, and any writing instrument that is replaced will not be engraved.
• Defective product must be returned to A.T. Cross at the customer's expense, including shipping and insurance.
• Customers are advised to insure shipments against loss or damage. Without proof of shipment, we cannot replace product we do not receive.

Exclusions from warranty include

• Normal wear and tear, stains, discolouration or scratches.
• Damage caused by accident, fire, theft, flood or other causes beyond our control.
• Damage caused by ink leaks to textiles, clothing or other personal property.
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse or negligence, including damage to pocket clips, tops, engraving, fountain pen nibs, emblems and other customised decoration.
• Damage resulting from repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorised or unqualified repair or service personnel.
• Damage caused by the use of refills or ink cartridges other than those produced by Cross.
• Loose caps.
• Leads, erasers and ink refills exhausted in the course of normal use.

A.T. Cross retains the right to modify the terms of this warranty.

Cross Tech Pro and Cross Townsend® Fine Tip Stylus Pens are guaranteed against electronic failure for one year from the date of original purchase. Specific mechanical failures, as defined above, are covered by the terms of the Cross Lifetime Mechanical Warranty. The active stylus tips of the Cross Tech Pro and Townsend® Fine Tip Stylus Pen are consumable items which are expected to wear over time and will require eventual replacement as a result of normal usage. Tips will be replaced under the One-Year Electronic Warranty only if found defective. In the event that the Cross Tech Pro or Townsend® Fine Tip Stylus Pens are no longer in production, defective items will be replaced with a similar Cross product of comparable value.

In no event shall Cross be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind or character including, without limitation, physical damage to the surface of hand-held PCs, cell phones, smart phones, or other electronic devices. Warning: Follow all Instructions for Use that accompany the product. Pen caps can obstruct breathing. Keep out of mouth. This product is not intended for children.

Cross Tech2, Tech3+ and Tech4 are guaranteed against mechanical failure, regardless of age, as set out in the Cross Writing Instruments Mechanical Warranty above. Applicable to the passive stylus tips in Tech2 and Tech3+: in no event shall Cross be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind or character including, without limitation, physical damage to the surface of hand-held PCs, cell phones, smart phones or other electronic devices.

Cross TrackR® Products: TrackR® has discontinued support of their Bluetooth tracking modules on both Apple and Android platforms. Therefore, the tracking function of the Cross writing instruments that were created in collaboration with TrackR® will no longer be operational. This change also affects the TrackR® Bravo devices that were sold as part of some Cross gift sets. The writing function of these pens is not affected by this change, and mechanical failures as defined above remain covered by the terms of the Cross mechanical warranty.

All Cross branded leather accessories and journals are guaranteed against defects in workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Any Cross accessory deemed defective under this warranty will be replaced when sent to A.T. Cross by the customer. Any such product that is no longer in production will be replaced with a comparable Cross product. Postage and insurance are the responsibility of the customer. Customers are advised to obtain insurance against loss or damage when shipping products to A.T. Cross. Without proof of shipment, Cross cannot replace product it does not receive.

Exclusions from warranty include: Parts damaged from impact, unreasonable use or obvious abuse. Discolouration due to ageing or other deterioration of the leather. Materials which become worn in the course of normal use. Logos, personalisation and other decoration.

This guarantee is provided in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect them. If you purchased your Cross product from a retailer other than uk.cross.com, your statutory rights are against that retailer.
